Tour This Southwest Pilot's Scissor
If you buy a scissor lift at auction, there's really only one sensible thing to do with it. Turn it into a mobile tiny home with the best views at any campsite.
Snacks, anyone?
If you are going to live in a tiny home, it might as well deliver views no matter where you go. That's the idea behind the scissor-lift/tiny home build showcased in this video from the Tiny House Giant Journey YouTube channel.
In the vid, Southwest Airlines pilot Mark describes the logic behind his unique home: He’d see scissor-lift trucks every day at work and always thought it would be nifty to live in one. When the COVID pandemic forced a reduction in his work, Mark bought a Southwest scissor lift at auction. Seven months later, he was on the road, happily lifting himself into the trees at every campsite he visited.
